UPM Alholma sawmill produces both redwood and whitewood sawn timber from certified Nordic spruce and pine. This local timber professional is an efficient and modern sawmill with highly skilled personnel. The sawmill is located in Pietarsaari where the nearby port plays an important role in the export of forest products.

Alholma sawmill was originally established by Wilhelm Schauman in 1896. Today it is an efficient sawmill with modern machinery and skilled people. Latest developments were conducted in 2018 when the sawmill's kilning capacity was increased with new automating kilning chamber.
